deadly_little: (Dear Dwight)
The Sin was empty and locked down tight, and the girls were gone with the moving truck. They'd left Miho behind to have her last hurrah, but now it was time to go.

Dwight leaned against the side of a Cadillac, waiting for his passenger. When she stepped out of a shadow, he valiantly restrained his urge to jump several feet. "Ready to go?" Miho produced a water balloon from somewhere and flicked it at him. He didn't bother trying to dodge, because really, what would have been the point? "I'll take that as a yes," he said as the water from the balloon dripped down his chest. Miho eyed the car warily, and Dwight told her, "It got me here, it'll get us home. Gail wouldn't strand me with you in Ohio."

Miho nodded and let Dwight hold the passenger door open for her as she got inside. He went around the car, got in, cranked it, and pulled out, leaving Fandom Island behind them.

If Miho stayed twisted around in her seet looking out the back window until they were across the causeway and the island was out of sight, well, Dwight wasn't going to be the one to mention it.

Next stop, Basin City.

((And she's gone. Woe. Posting this now because I may not be around later, but Miho is still water-ballooning away about town.))

This was actually supposed to happen about a month ago, but RL has been crazy and I got clingy even after I made the decision.

This was also supposed to happen after Zero's movie aired, as that was going to be part of the impetus, but my computer has eaten the file that was saved in, so...that might be a while.

I can put it off no longer. Sunday evening, Miho and the ladies of the Fourth Sin will be packing up and leaving Fandom. For good. It's been a great run, but I feel like Miho's character arc has run its course here. It's time for her to go home and terrorize the johns and Dwight and Gail.

This weekend, Miho will be running wild with water balloons to clean out her stock before she leaves, so if you want one last splash, come on into town. If you have any other Miho-shaped threads you'd like to tie up before she goes, let me know here (Pirate? War god? Employee pretender?)

It's been a blast. I'll miss the tiny ninja empress, but...it's time.

Miho and the other girls waited on the roof for rescue as, below, the merpeople set up their own house of ill repute.

"This is all your fault," Goldie told her sister.

"My fault? How is this my fault?"

"I don't know," Carmen said, "but I vote we blame Wendy, too."

Miho just glared hatefully at the rain.
deadly_little: (death)
Miho woke up Monday morning in her own bed, despite having fallen asleep on a sofa in the school dorm (which was not nearly as interesting as not being allowed in there had led her to believe).

And then she remembered what had happened that weekend and realized she was going to have to kill every last person on this island. Except maybe the pirate. The pirate could live. But then she turned over and went back to sleep. The killing could wait until noon, couldn't it?
deadly_little: (weetiny Miho lighter)
Miho woke up and went to find the rest of the Old Town Little Girls. They were in Carmen and Daisy's room (they shared because they were BEST FRIENDS FOREVER), playing Go Fish. Everyone looked at Miho as she babbled about whether or not there was any pie for breakfast. Unfortunately, she only spoke Japanese, so none of them could understand her.

Miho sighed. She'd have to find her own pie, then. Even though she was the littlest.
deadly_little: (NPC hooker)
It was well after sundown when the girls trooped back into the Sin through the kitchen door. "You want to open up?" Goldie asked, and Miho just shook her head. They'd had a long enough day, between Dallas's funeral and the trip back to Virginia. "Okay." She gestured between herself and her twin and said, "We'll just, um, pack up Dallas's stuff to send back to her mom." Dallas's mom, Austin, had been one of the Girls until she aged out of it. Now she ran a coffee shop in the heart of Old Town. She'd taken her daughter's death well. Death was a part of the life they lived.

Miho nodded, and Carmen asked, "What about Vartan's stuff?"

"Please, she's probably in Mexico by now," Daisy told her lover.

"She didn't want her mom to know she's a whore, right?" Wendy asked. "So I say send her stuff to her mom, too. With a note."

Miho thought about it for a moment, then spoke. "Yes. No note." She spoke so rarely, her words carried weight.

Daisy grabbed Carmen's arm and said, "So, we'll do that." The four of them headed upstairs, and then it was just Miho and Vivian. At least, until Daisy leaned back down the stairwell and hissed, "Viv, come on."

Miho took a slice of frozen pie from the freezer and a fork from the silverware drawer, and went up to the roof.
deadly_little: (silence is golden)
Miho waited several rings before she realized that no, nobody else was going to pick up the phone so she'd better do it. So she did, and waited.

Phone Call )

Miho sighed and stared at the phone. Even she didn't want to tangle with the IRS. So she started packing a bag, since she'd probably wind up staying in Basin City a day or two to harass Dwight and certain other people. It would be fun.

If anyone were to glance up at the Sin's roof--not that they should have any reason to do so--they might see a slightly darker patch against the shingles. This would be Miho, who was gazing up at the stars. Not stargazing, of course, as that would be an utterly frivolous activity.

Hey, if you connected those stars together, they sort of looked like Gail.
deadly_little: (bloody little Miho)
At the side of a road outside Basin City was parked a hard top with a good engine and a big trunk. Gail and Dwight leaned against the side of the car, Gail smoking one of her Russian cigarette. The two of them were sharing a flask of rather questionable liquor.

She's been gone a while... )
deadly_little: (death)
Miho sat behind the Sin's front desk, in case any stragglers came in looking for a quickie before dawn and the close of business hours. She was engaged in her version of a phone conversation: Gail talked. Miho listened. Some things were too fast-moving for letters. Miho twirled the phone cord around her fingers and mused that from the background noises, Gail seemed to have waited until she was otherwise occupied so that Miho's silence wouldn't begin to creep her out.

"...so anyway--" SMACK "--I'm sure Becky told you we think this bastard's holed up out at that old farm outside of town. And this guy that's been investigating, he's gonna get--" SMACK "--too far in over his head, and I'm not gonna be the one to bail him out--would you stop screaming like that, I am on the phone." SMACK. "Some people just have no manners. Oh, hang on, would you?" Miho hung on. It wasn't like she had anywhere else to be.

There was a pause as Gail set the phone down. Miho could hear in a muffled sort of fashion Gail's version of teaching her client manners, and then she was back. "So, yeah, we need you to come back and take care of this for us real quick. It shouldn't take you long."

Miho had never told Gail this, because it was Gail and she didn't want her getting a big head, but when she'd first come to America and met the Old Town Girls, Miho had decided she wanted to be just like Gail when she grew up.

Gail was silent for a long moment, and then she said softly, "Lily disappeared last night. You know Lily, she had that rose tattoo on her cheek. Her sister's freaking out. It's like he doesn't make any noise...I'll have Dwight pick you up at the train station tonight." Click.

The hell with the stragglers. Miho hung up the phone and went upstairs to start packing every sharp thing she owned.

((Open to Becky or Jarod, if they wish.))
deadly_little: (pretty Miho)
Miho sat in the Sin's kitchen with her feet propped up on the table, munching happily on the brownies she'd stashed here before she went up to the school for her workshop. She'd baked them herself, and they were pretty good, if she did say so. Except she didn't say so because, duh, nonverbal. If anyone else came in, she might give them a brownie. Or tequila, if they were Becky.

((Open!))
deadly_little: (silence is golden)
Well, everyone and their brother's doing it...

Hi. If you're an Archery student, you really need to read this, and yes, I suck and blow concurrently for not getting it up before the first workshop.

If you want to know about Miho, read it too.

Questions? Comments? Pie?
deadly_little: (Default)
A serene Miho sat on the roof of the Sin, perfectly visible if one knew where to look, and watched. From here, she could see all around. In particular, she could see if any pirates made good on their promises of pie.
deadly_little: (Default)
Miho sat in the Sin's kitchen, the back door unlocked across from her, reading the paper and eating breakfast. Which was not pie. In fact, it was eggs and bacon and toast. Buttery toast. But Miho didn't wiggle her fingers because she didn't know Bridge.

Notes found some time Monday, stealthily dropped on the beds of Belthazor, Edward Elric, Isabel Evans, Janet Fraiser, Molly Hayes, Gwynn Hood, Kinomoto Sakura, Conner McKnight, M. Parker, Sakurazaki Setsuna, Buffy Summers, Dawn Summers, Alanna Trebond, Dean Winchester, and Sam Winchester:

Archery is in the Danger Shop, in case you did not know. Dress for movement.

Miho

After tormenting GOB, Miho went back up to her room, where she was greeted by five weetiny bunnies. The bunnies peered up at her, then hopped over to hug her ankle.

Miho might have made a tiny 'squee' sound. Maybe. But she'd never admit it, even under torture.

She wondered what weetiny bunnies ate. Did they like pie?

Miho woke up. Today was her birthday, as the whores were well aware. It was also April Fool's Day. Last year, one of the other Old Town girls had tried to play a prank on Miho. This had been a mistake she had regretted immensely.

She should do something to celebrate. Something...fun. Her eye slid past her arsenal to a packet of water balloons, the only burst of color in the room, and a few bottles of food coloring.

Yes. Those would do nicely.
deadly_little: (Default)
Miho was bored again. That happened a lot in this town. The johns tended to take one look at her and mind their manners, and there were a lot fewer mobsters to slice than back home.

Tonight, she'd taken up a position on the steeply-pitched roof of the Sin. She was sitting in the lotus position meditating, or possibly sleeping. How she wasn't falling off was anyone's guess, if they even managed to see her up there.
deadly_little: (Default)
Miho opened the kitchen door and stepped inside. Once again the mob had been reminded not to mess with the girls of Old Town, and she'd had quite a bit of fun in the process. Dwight had been making out with Gail when she decided her work there was done and started home, so hopefully she wouldn't be getting any more letters asking her to off him soon. She was pleased to note that Becky hadn't managed to burn the place down while she was away. All in all, Miho was in a good mood, if rather tired.

She'd be in an even better mood if there were brownies.
